Do You Have White Spots On Your Nails? Here is What Experts Warn Us About
Some myth among people said the white spots on nails could mean that somebody might have a feeling for you.
However, this is not true.
These white spots in fingernails are called “leukonychia” and are very common.
It’s often called white nail or milky nail. It could appear if you use a wrong nail care product.
Having these in your nails could also mean the nail is lacking vitamin, some minerals, and calcium.
Again, these spots are temporary.
They grow out as your nail grows, and depending on how fast your nails grow, it can take up to eight months for the Leukonychia to be completely gone.
Sometimes, a change in the appearance of your nails does indicate an underlying disease, but these changes would be more dramatic than just the occasional white spot.
Nails that turn completely white, for example, can indicate liver disease, but by the time this happens, you probably would have other symptoms.
If you got the white spots on all of your fingers, the leukonychia could linked with some serious disease such as heart problem, anemia, diabetes, and liver problems. You maybe should see the doctor if this happens.
